June 10 Update Graphic

June 10, 2020

Good Afternoon Warren Students, Families, and Staff,

Our district re-entry task force continues to research guidance and work with our local agencies to prepare for school opening in July. At this time, we are planning for both an in person and online model for grades K-12. We have created a parent / caregiver survey to help guide our plan. Please take a few minutes to complete the survey by visiting bit.ly/OPENSURVEY2021. It is my goal to provide our opening plan by the end of June.

Our Class of 2020 virtual graduation ceremony is planned for Saturday, June 13 at 7 PM. The link for the ceremony is warrencentral-hs.stageclip.com . Our in person diploma ceremonies are being held June 16, 17, 18. Please visit the high school graduation page for specific times.

Warren seventh and eighth grade students can still apply for the 21st Century Scholars program until June 30th.  21st Century Scholars is the state’s early college promise program that provides up to four years of undergraduate tuition and fees for eligible students at Indiana colleges and universities. For more information, please contact your school principal or visit learnmoreindiana.org/scholars/enroll

K-8 students and families can expect to begin receiving their summer learning packets next week. These packets will focus on essential math and reading skills as well as social emotional skills. Students will receive an incentive for completing their packet upon returning it to school in the fall.
