December 9, 2020

Good Afternoon Warren Students, Families, and Staff,

As we get closer to the end of the first semester, this is a reminder to our students that they will not be penalized for submitting any missing work from this semester. Students, please verify with your teachers on the last day these can be submitted.

If you have technology needs you can access one of the following supports.

  1. You can access the Technology Help Desk at Moorhead Community Resource Center from 10:00 - 2:00, Monday - Friday. All iPad concerns should be directed here.

  2. You can bring your device to any of the three Intermediate Middle Schools during school hours, 9:00 - 4:00, Monday - Friday.

  3. You can access the Chromedesk at the High School during 1st and 2nd period, Monday - Friday.

  4. If for some reason you are not able to access the above times and locations, you can Submit a help ticket through IncidentIQ  by clicking on Technology under the Explore Tab and then select Parent Tech Info. We will work with you to address your needs.

Please know that we are continuing to monitor COVID data during the VIRTUAL window. Please continue to communicate with your child’s teacher and or school if your child tests positive for COVID.  In addition, please communicate with the school if your child is not able to participate in their Zoom sessions due to an illness or another reason.

Due to transition to VIRTUAL, we are partnering with our food service vendor, Chartwells to provide meals to all students. Food distribution days will be Tuesdays and Fridays from 4:00 - 6:00 PM at Warren Central High School, Creston, Raymond Park, and Stonybrook Intermediate Middle Schools, and Moorhead Community Resource Center. Tuesday distributions will consist of 3 breakfast meals, 3 lunch meals, and 3 supper meals. Friday distributions will consist of 4 breakfast meals, 4 lunch meals, and 2 supper meals.  Menus can be found on our website under Food Service and linked to this email. https://warren.nutrislice.com/menus-eula

Our Moorhead Community Resource Center will remain open during the VIRTUAL window. If you have needs beyond what is being offered, you can either reach out to your child’s school or contact us through the outreach number, 317-608-0545 or email at MSDWarrenOutreach@warren.k12.in.us.  Please note that technology support is not a part of MCRC.

Warren is partnering with the Ransburg YMCA to provide our families with YMCA ELEARNING CARE at Brookview Elementary.  Students, ages 5-14, are eligible to participate in this program from 6:30 AM - 6:00 PM during the VIRTUAL window. For more information including the cost, please see attached flier to this email or visit INDYMCA.org/YouthDevelopment.
